A Change In Focus
Making the big move to Chicago has been challenging and exciting. I am happy to see the amount of culture, art,
history, architecture, and interesting people within this 'Windy City'.
Everyday I discover something new; my new life here is quite an adventure. Finally
having finished setting up my new studio and being able to focus on my fine art now, I have been pushing
myself to revisit my original ideas and flip them upside down! I've been using this opportunity to take my
perspective and translate it to canvas. Just being in a new environment has opened up a world of ideas for me.
I can't wait to share them with you! I will be continually updating my website to add my most recent creations and
please sign up for my mailing list to receive monthly updates on my art!
Exciting News!!
My recent painting, Nodulus, has been accepted to show at a local
juried exhibition in the Chicago area, that features many talented artists from around the country.
The juror, Barbara Cooper, is a well respected artist in Chicago and is an artist that I gather so much inspiration from.
I am thrilled to be a part of this show! If you happen to be in the Chicago area, please stop by to see
the exhibit, MULTIPLICITY at Union Street Gallery, 1527 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, IL 606411. The opening reception will be on Friday,
March 13, 2009 6-9pm, and the exhibit will last through April 10, 2009. For more information or if you can not make it
to the Gallery, please visit this link to preview art from the exhibition:
